1. Always Stay connected with your family or friends online either on Skype or Whatsapp you just need an Internet connection, if its very costly or not supported than buy an International SIM Card while reaching at destination. You can get a SIM card by showing your Passport.
2. Keep your friends, family and hotel attender about your itinerary, they must know where you are going and when you will come back. Do not change any plans if changing than do let them know each and every detail about it.
3. Keep Money, Credit Card, Passport at separate places and don’t keep all money at one place, keep some cash in pocket, some in wallet, some in handbag, some in luggage bag and keep some back up money in your bank account.
4. Stay Healthy, before drinking water verify if its safe for drinking, see whether there are any mosquitoes, take prescribed medications and hand sanitizer.
5. Study every thing about destination thoroughly: You must have an idea about place you are visiting, emergency numbers, places to reach in case of emergency, get idea with locals or neighbourhoods, must be aware about situations that can happen after dark.
