Mobile Penetration In Travel Industry


According to report by Expedia and comscore it is being observed that around 48% of purchase have came from mobile and tablet users. It is also being observed that around 61% of travellers have made their purchase from tablets by leaving behind smartphones which is 51%.




It is clear from these stats that travellers are comfortable using tablets than smartphones and chances are that tablet users are more likely to book again from same device than smartphones.It has been observed that purchases were from apps and hence found that apps are very much popular within visitors before making any decision.

Mobile penetration have proved that within next 2 years purchases will get double from tablets and smartphones as compared to laptop or desktops.
